This is a great campground only 45 minutes south of Winnipeg. They have pretty typical sites though many of the waterfront ones aren't very well treed. There's a main beach and a smaller "sunset" one which give plenty of options for beach fun. No need to go any further unless you need the real "backwoods" experience.

There are also several large snapping turtles found in thick weeded areas around the reservoir. Be careful and avoid getting too close or you're sure to find they've been aptly named.

Many of the serviced sites offer tons of privacy. No gas-powered watercraft allowed. Great for kayaks, canoes and paddle boards. Tons of weeds accumulate near the shores when water levels are low. Nice beaches. Fish for Pike, Perch, Bull Heads and the odd Walleye.

Good for families. The park was pretty and plenty for the kids to do. Was a bad weather weekend so didn't get to enjoy all the amenities but went back another time and loved it. Good job.
